Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is an education and training which provides knowledge and skills for employment. TVET is one of the quickest ways to reduce unemployment rates. TVET is recognised to be a crucial vehicle for social equity, inclusion and sustainable development.

This takes the form of learning and developing work related skills and mastery of underlying knowledge and scientific principles. Work is broadly defined and therefore refers to both formal employment and self-employment. To support self-employment, TVET curricula often include entrepreneurship training.

The Fund intends to have a robust TVET program. And will immediately commence key TVET programmes that include acquisition of skills such as carpentry, fashion design, plumbing, vehicle and machinery repair, glass and metal fabrication, underwater welding, electrical technicians etc.
